With a brand new GoPro Hero Black going for $499, it’s no wonder why GoPro is taking some of the frills out of their formula in order to provide a cheaper option to the selfie stick holding general public. So in order to provide a newer, cheaper option in the market, GoPro is offering its Hero+ model for just $199.
The Hero+ is like the current Hero model except it contains the amenities that any 21st century smart phone contains– WiFi and Bluetooth.
That said, the new Hero+ does 60 frames per second versus the previous 30 of the original Hero. Also the camera shoots 8 megapixel stills compated to the Hero’s 5 megapixel resolution.
