Keeping in line with the previous year, The Swatch Freeride World Tour will keep all the same venues with a slight change in scheduling. This year, the tour opens with a stop at Vallnord Arcalis in Andorra before moving through Europe for the rest of the tour. The one American exception is a repeat stop in Haines, Alaska. The Alaskan venue stood out last year as one of the highlights of the tour and promoters are excited about the opportunity to return to the home of heli-skiing.
However, American athletes and fans are wondering if the FWT will ever return to the lower 48. We’ll just have to wait one more year to see if they bring an event back to mainland America.
