We were just sent this video of a runaway sled careening down the mountain with an injured skier in it. This terrifying video is from the avalanche chutes in Mammoth Mountain. No official word on what the outcome, but according to youtube comments, “ski-patroller DID NOT catch up to the sled, the sled crashed into some trees below the video frame….The injured guy was super lucky he didn’t die in this incident.”
