Three ski resorts are still open in North America.
The calendar says it’s officially June but that has not stopped three ski resorts in North America from offering up skiing and riding. Colorado, Oregon and British Columbia all have ski areas that are still serving up lift accessed skiing and boarding.
If you still are itching for some turns you can also head down to New Zealand or South America which are just now heading into winter.
Colorado: Arapahoe Basin
A-basin will be open daily until June 7th. The resort will then reopen for the weekend of June 12-14th. Arapahoe Basin has received 311″ of snow this season with 50″ falling in the month of May.
Oregon: Timberline
Timberline Lodge will be open for daily skiing and snowboarding until September! It’s the only ski resort in North America that stays open throughout the summer months.
Canada: Whistler-Blackcomb
Whistler will be open until June 7th. Glacier skiing and riding will then kickoff on June 20 and go through July 26, 2015.
