The summer has unofficially kicked off and the city of Boston still has snow on the ground. Snow piles still remain following the record-breaking winter that dropped 110.6 inches of snow.

On Wednesday, Boston Mayor Marty Walsh tweeted a photo of the Tide Street Snow Farm, the largest of the city’s dumping grounds in South Boston. The snow piles are now a filthy mixture of garbage, debris, and the very last of the winter’s snow.
