Never seen this technique before but right out of the gate I love it. No need to tether the kid or hold him or her up by the arm pits.  You can kind of create a halo of safety without actually providing any support. Great way to give the beginner some freedom and build confidence while under total supervision. Bravo to whoever came up with this one and apologies if this age old teachers aid….maybe I am the only one to never see it.
