Hold on to your butts freeride fans….The FWT2015 Tour kicks off tomorrow in legendary Chamonix, France.

“Chamonix, world freeride capital with backdrop of the Mont Blanc (4810 m), will receive the Freeride World Tour for the 8th year running. Renowned for its epic surrounding peaks and the cable car to Aiguille du Midi (3842 m), the town of Chamonix is the birthplace of many great mountaineers but also of freeride champions like Aurélien Ducroz and Jonathan «Doud’s» Chan who have both won the Freeride World Tour. The reigning world champion, Loïc Collomb-Patton, winner of this stage ski in 2014, will for sure be getting a lot of attention as well as the young Léo Slemett, winner of the FWQ 2014. The competition face, located in the area of La Flégère, offers great possibilities for the riders who will, however, need to be versatile on this varied terrain.”
Working on finding an official stream for the event so we can watch it real time but not having much luck…they are using dailymotion.com as their official video player and I am not sure of their streaming capabilities. Will keep you posted once one is found.
