Mt Baker, Washington is forecasted to receive nearly 100″ of snow by the weekend! Several rounds of precipitation is expected to bring snow above 6000′. The snowfall will be heaviest today through Thursday night and could fall at a rate of 2 feet per day.

NOAA’s Forecast: “A series of wet storm systems will begin to affect the Inland Northwest tonight, and continue through much of the week. While most areas will receive rainfall, the Cascade crest will see the highest precipitation totals. 2 to 3 inches of rain is expected here, with lesser amounts expected further east. Snow doesn’t look like it will be much of an issue, as the snow levels fall to 6000′.”
