Nike has confirmed that they will be getting out of the snowboarding and freeskiing industry. Its 2014-15 line of boots and outerwear will be the last Nike gear to hit the market.

Nike decided to make the decision after their 201 4 fiscal year reports in June, which showed growth among in every key area of the brand except action sports. The full attention of of action sports will now be shifted towards skateboarding.

“Nike SB will focus its innovation, design and marketing resources on its biggest brand driver and growth opportunity, skateboarding,” Nike spokeswoman Jenna Golden told XGames.com. “The current Holiday ’14 Nike Snowboarding collection will be the final at retail.”
