“Bumps: A Mogul Skiing Documentary” is a film about the sport of mogul skiing. It’s a two year project directed by skier/filmmaker Zac Hoffman. Bumps will display the beauty of the sport, and unveil the determination and passion that unite the mogul skiing community.

“Bumps” reaches deep into the heart of the mogul skiing world. Mogul skiing has become a very popular event at the Olympics, but beyond the fact that competitors ski down some bumps and do a couple jumps, spectators don’t really understand. “Bumps”, directed by current NorAm competitor and filmmaker Zac Hoffman, aims to fill this gap.

The sport has yet to be shown to the public in a way that does it justice. A mogul run is exciting to watch, but once someone knows what goes into being able to make it down that course, it becomes so much more. It’s a display of strength, intensity, finesse, strategy, individuality, and mental fortitude.

“Bumps” is a film about mogul skiing, made by mogul skiers. This sport is something we are so passionate about, and that’s what we want to show the world. It’s more than just a sport to us. It’s a lifestyle. This sport is physically and mentally strenuous. It’s a year-round commitment that leaves little time for life outside the ski world. “Bumps” will justify and explain our addiction to the sport we love through spectacular footage of and interviews with some of the best mogul skiers on the planet.
