Intrawest has introduced a winter ski pass for all six of the resorts it has a stake in or manages. The Intrawest Passport, which goes on sale today, offers six days at each of the resorts for $549. After buying the initial pass, five additional adult passes can be purchased for $399 each and a maximum of five dependent passes for those ages 13 to 20 are $199 each. Children younger than 12 ski for free.

The pass provides six days of skiing at Steamboat Ski Area in Colorado; Winter Park Resort in Colorado; Blue Mountain in Ontario, Canada; Tremblant in Quebec, Canada; Stratton Mountain Resort in Vermont; and Snowshoe Mountain Ski Resort in West Virginia.

The Intrawest Passport is clearly intended to compete with Vail Resorts very successful Epic Pass.

*The pass does not have blackout dates, but the introductory pricing is only good through March 14.
