A secondary low might form along Interstate 80 Thursday PM into Friday with an additional 4-8 inches in some isolated locations (Wildcard). Moisture will impact the Tetons (4-8), Wasatch (7-9) on Thursday from late AM to midnight and most of central and northern Colorado (Monarch, Aspen, Crested Butte, Breckenridge) Thursday PM through Friday (4-8).

Powder Watch:

Another storm will move into California on Friday bringing much needed rain and mountain snow to the Southern zones. Mammoth will reap some rewards to the north with a Bulls eye over Big Bear. That system will move into Arizona, New Mexico and southern Colorado this weekend! It has the potential to dump over a foot of new snow to the southern areas of California and 4 corners. Saturday will be a storm ski day at Taos, Wolf Creek, and perhaps freshies for Arizona Snowbowl. Some energy will form over the Tetons and the Wasatch from the split low. Amounts are uncertain at this time. Please Help us out!
