Precipitation forecast for February in the USA.
NOAA has released their forecast for February and it does not look good for California. It appears that the high pressure sitting off the west coast of California has no intention of moving anytime soon Above average temperatures mix with below average precipitation could mean disaster for any hopes of salvaging the rest of the 2013 -2014 ski season.
For much of the rest of the United States NOAA is giving 50/50 chances on February being above average or below average on both temperature and precipitation.
