Japan is Powder Heaven, there is no question about that. We spent 17 days in Japan this year and it snowed every one of those days with a total snowfall just over 3m… thats insane. It was our fourth time back and this time we got what we came for and more. Easily one of the deepest days skiing we’ve ever had and on an uncrowded mountain, it doesn’t get any better than that!

We also took another tour with Black Diamond Tours where we went hunting for pillows. Our guide Andy took us into the Niseko backcountry where we found what we were looking for and had one hell of a day. Thanks a lot BDT and our guide Andy!
