Definitely curious how they pulled that off and pretty impressive considering it looks like they used the same five shots from 10 different angles to put that together.

This video could have been alot better if YOU COULD SEE WHAT THEY WERE TAKING OFF OR LANDING ON. The over-dramatic close ups don’t show what is really going on. A single video clip including the in run, take off, air, and landing would have been nice. Think about the flips and airs in this video… YOU DONT SEE LANDINGS OF WHAT THEY ARE TAKING OFF FROM. WTF are you hiding? You blew it, filmer/editor.

Incorrect! That is perfect editing, always leave the audience wanting more. That’s like saying a magician would be a whole lot better if they told you how it was done, or the shower scene from Psycho would have been better if Hitchcock showed you the stabbing. And I would say, if it got you wondering that much ‘how is it done?’ then they’ve done brilliantly. We’re inundated with subtlety being blown out when imagination is such a fantastic function, and its being triggered less and less.

They sold this as “no snow” skiiing…”full forest”. They lied and tried to cover it up. Any idiot can jump into trees, off cliffs, over rivers, and come out unharmed. If they actually landed the trick (or atleast showed falls, takeoffs, etc) do you think it would take from the video?… you said, “That’s like saying a magician would be a whole lot better if they told you how it was done, or the shower scene from Psycho would have been better if Hitchcock showed you the stabbing”. Well guess what, this is not a fictional film. It is skiing and should be documented in its entirety, especially when something as epic as this is going down. That’s my opinion. By the way, if they are going to attempt to fool the audience into believing there is no snow, atleast edit the movie correctly. Multipule shots showed snow flying from the take off. They should have documented this in it’s entriety instead of blowing the “That’s like saying a magician would be a whole lot better if they told you how it was done, or the shower scene from Psycho would have been better if Hitchcock showed you the stabbing” approach. They did fool me…thing is, THEY DIDNT HAVE TO

        1. Any idiot? Let’s see your edit then man…
        2. My guess is subtlety is not really something you enjoy. [Silver] spoon feeding seems way more your steeze. (which also makes me think you may miss the subtlety in point 1)
        3. USING CAPS DOESN’T MAKE YOU MORE CORRECT
        4. A fools paradise is a wise man’s hell – I’m going to hope they don’t move in your direction and give up all the mystery.

        Peace.

So…there not actually skiing on the dirt, its edited from snow and their bodies and skis were cut out, similar to the segment from All I Can, and if you pause at 1:57 you can obviously see the snow flying off of the back of the ski. YOu also may notice that they are often not touching the ground.

  • Flippah

If you have not purchased, watched, rewatched, and triple rewatched Valhalla yet you missing out BIG TIME. One of the best movies, ski or otherwise, ive seen in a long while.

Crikey! It as to be movie magician wizardry ya dumb cunts! What they’re taking off and landing on is called snow, and if ya can’t figure tat out then you’re about as bright as the inside of a dingo’s asshole. Fair dinkum! Contrary to popular belief, it does snow in Australia mate. Inside and out. As a matter of fact, I’m keen as a blowfly circling the dunny to rip up some sic lines that are sitting in front of me here on me coffee table! Happy days mate! Legend!!

I’m so glad I’ve never met someone as dumb as you, Jet. I hope you choke on your fake Australian accent.

Very cool. Well done. Yes good editing. Combination of shots – difficult to make it look good. As “Retards” wrote – you can see snow from the original shots (at 1:59 as well – snow on the bindings) – but very cool.

  • Phil

my problem with this is that they are damaging the wild life. look at 1:42 where you can see the scarring on the bark on the tree. just imagine what other damage they did. Cool stunts but stay out of such a beautiful place if you don’t fully respect it.
