“I spent this last winter moving up to Girdwood Alaska from Colorado. I postponed my driving because of poor snow conditions up North. All of December I spent in Jackson Hole exploring with my gracious hosts Ian Tarbow and Dutch Simpson. I enjoyed every second of skiing I could get. In January I finally made my way up by ferry to Alaska. I met some Norwegians (Nikolai Schirmer and Lars Andreas Nilssen) that had the same passion about the backcountry as I did. The snow this year was deep and relatively consistent which made for amazing conditions for skiing. This is a compilation of my footage from some good old fashioned ski touring adventures.
