Long time Snowbird ripper Kaitlin Elliott has made her way onto big mountain snowboarding’s highest competitive stage. She is the newest representative of the Americas Region in the Swatch Freeride World Tour. After a victory at the Taos 4 Star FWQ event last year and other solid finishes Kait will be joining fellow Snowbird women snowboarders / FWT Veterans Laura Dewey and Shannan Yates-Cochrane on the big hills in Europe this season.
As a long time friend of Ms. Elliott’s I would like to say a HUGE congratulations to her. Kaitlin has committed several years, most of her hard earned cash and some bodily abuse to get this far. I can’t wait to see her smiling a jumping around on the internet this year during the Freeride World Tour Events she is able to attend.
