THIS EVENING TO 10 PM PST WEDNESDAY.

* TIMING: SNOW WILL DEVELOP LATE TONIGHT WITH A PERIOD OF MODERATE
  TO HEAVY SNOW OVERNIGHT INTO WEDNESDAY MORNING. SNOW SHOWERS
  WILL CONTINUE WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS: 8 TO 14 INCHES ABOVE 7000 FEET WITH 3 TO 8
  INCHES AT LAKE LEVEL. THE HIGHEST AMOUNTS ARE EXPECTED ALONG
  AND WEST OF HIGHWAY 89.

* WINDS: SOUTHWEST 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 45 MPH. SIERRA RIDGE
  GUSTS UP TO 100 MPH.

* IMPACTS: SNOW WILL PRODUCE SLICK DRIVING CONDITIONS ACROSS THE
  LAKE TAHOE BASIN. TRAVEL OVER SIERRA PASSES MAY BECOME DIFFICULT
  WITH CHAIN CONTROLS LIKELY.
