The Little Horse Thief Forest Fire in Jackson WY began on Saturday, September 8th 2012 at a private residence 5 miles south of town. The fire quickly grew and spread into Bridger-Teton National Forest near Snow King Resort. Federal, state and local agencies are working tirelessly to contain the fire and protect structures in the Town of Jackson from damage.
