Friday afternoon marked the 3rd annual 3,000 words event at Fifty Fifty Brewing in Truckee, CA. It’s said that a picture tells the story of a 1,000 words and fittingly there were 3 categories. Winter, Human Power, and Shane/Eagle. Local photographers donated framed photos which were silently auctioned off to support 3 local charities. High Fives, Biking for a Better World, and the Shane McConkey Foundation were recipients of checks thanks to the support.
Local Photographers who donated pictures included Jason Abraham, Grant Kaye, Trevor Clark, JP Lagos, Court Leve, Kevin Klein, Donna Reid, and Aaron Sedway.
There was tons of food, a good crowd, and Silver Boombox Thief on the 1’s and 2’s at 10pm. Â Â If you didn’t make it out, I would definitely encourage you to attend this event next year. Great times for a great cause.
