We were skeptical of the rollerskis & boards at first. But after seeing them in action, we’re convinced. This set up is gonna be sick.
Not only are you going to be able to try tricks into the foam pit, but you’ll be able to try them onto a plastic-covered-foam-landing that gives if you wipe out. That same plastic-covered-foam-landing will let you stick it and ride away if the trick works out.
Woodward Tahoe is also going to a have a pump track with jumps and wall rides that you’ll be able to charge around in on rollerskis and boards. Small jumps will allow even more trick progression and wall rides will help you get that off angle flow established.
Maybe the coolest part is going to be the parkour style trampoline zone. You’ll be jumping tramp to tramp and have walls you can jump off of in the air. Cirqu du Soleil style, ya know?
Overall Woodward Tahoe is going to step up the level of the skiing and riding in the Lake Tahoe area. Now, if we can just get Squaw to build us a park and pipe…
