It’s the last weekend of Whistler’s 2012 season. It’s warm outside, people are golfing, biking and even starting to hit the beach so is it still worth heading up the mountain?

If you like soft snow, park laps, sunshine and beers on a sunny patio it’s a no brainer. GET UP THERE!

It’s a little hard to get motivated in the mornings these days. Suiting up to walk in your boots and snow gear to the lifts is sweaty, and there isn’t much snow around to put you in the mood to be wearing snow pants but once you’re on the lift it’s all gravy. It doesn’t get good and soft up there until 11 am anyways.

Put the beach aside for 2 more days and come shred in the sunshine!

The “run” down from Base 2 is a little bare… But you can actually still ride to the Tube Park. Most people are parking in the Day lots now.

Training at the pond skim for Monday’s main event.

Solar Coaster living up to it’s name.

Empty runs = small lift lines!
