Mike Basich has long been known as the ultimate Do It Yourselfer.

When he’s not shooting self portraits, building his own ski lifts in his backyard or this amazing house in the Sierras, he’s building the ultimate vehicle for powder missions in Alaska.

Mike Basich has been putting together a web series breaking down the process of transforming a big diesel baby killing truck into an eco friendly, runs on veggie oil, sleep in the back, toss a sled on top, store all your shred gear and go find powder in the wilderness kind of vehicle.

The series is almost finished (still waiting on the final instalment to show it in action) but it gets you motivated to go take on a DIY project in your downtime.  It’s pouring rain in Whistler all week so it might be fitting.

Anyways, get of the couch and go build something.
