The alpine and Peak 2 Peak -not open today

Today was foggy. Today was wet. Today was windy.

We ventured around Blackcomb, or at least what was open.
A few runs down Jersey, a few in CBC and Fraggle rock.
Made a stop at the Rope Swing …

Today was our first time noticing the new “Permanently Closed” signs located  at the top of CBC/the Burn. We think the signs are quite ambiguous and not-so strategically posted because they can be easily missed. The closure makes a very popular zone in CBC now off limits… ?Questions? we have them too.

As you can tell by the costumes people were having a great day skiing at Whistler Blackcomb.

We finished off the day at Merlins for a jug of good ol’ kokanee, maybe it was Labatt or Molson -whatever the beer- it was Canadian, it was cold and it hit the spot.

Tomorrow -Should be sick!

40cms of new snow by tomorrow morning with mid to high freezing levels. The rest of the week looks good if you own a brap brap machine or a pair of legs with a touring set up.  Be careful though because some layers have been popping.
