Don’t pack up the powder skis just yet, because it’s still winter in Hakuba. After a temporary lapse into spring-like conditions, winter is back, with a foot and a half of fresh falling in the past 24 hours. This video features a storm day skiing at Happo, and a bluebird powder day at Cortina. It was great to ski some deep snow again, as I think we were all starting to forget what it feels like. Winter’s not over till the fat lady sings, and there are no fat girls in Japan.
This looks like a couple that belongs together. Two people with a mutual respect, adoration, and obsession with the sport they love.
