It’s been deep here in Whistler for days now. I have given up trying to add up the centimeters that fall in spurts, and the wildly inconsistent totals from Whistler mountain itself add to the difficulty. 26 centimeters of new snow was reported over Saturday night, but all I know is that the weekend as a whole was powdery and rowdy. The sun made an appearance today and the Peak chair peanut gallery was on. Elsewhere, cliffs were hucked in abundance and enthusiasm was at a season high, even if few drops were landed all day. Hey, why land when it’s so soft, eh?
