We have one last storm moving through the Rockies the next two days before the monster ridge shut outs storms for most of the country by this weekend. It will bring generally light accumulations down the Rockies but the storm will stall and spin over Colorado the next 2 days bringing some bigger snows to the Southwest and East of the divide.
The storm is has already moved into the Pacific NW and is progressing East into the Northern Rockies today and tonight. We should see a general 3-6 inches of snow from Idaho down to Utah, and over to Wyoming where that would put Jackson over 200 inches for the season.
Here is the total precip map off the GFS model through Friday. You can see light amounts up to 1/2 inch of liquid equating to up to 6 inches of snow for most areas.
Over Colorado the storm will split off from the main flow and sping over Eastern Colorado and Western Nebraska on Thursday before departing on Friday. Most of the resort areas west of the continental divide will only see 3-6 inches of snow like the areas to the North and West, but the Southwest corner over Telluride will pick up 6-12 inches. East of the continental divide, which is East of most of the major resorts, the heaviest snow will fall where over foot could accumulate in Northeast Colorado by Friday.

After this storm a huge ridge of high pressure will build over the entire West blocking any storms from coming onshore for the week and into the beginning of next week. Beyond that the forecast models disagree on whether Pacific storms will be able to break through into the West Coast by the end of next week. Right now the best chances look to be up in the Pacific NW. BA
