Below average precipitation forecasted in Tahoe next 6-10 days

Tahoe needs a vicious series of storms to roll thru, bury everything, shut down the resort if it has to, and end this heinous drought that we are having.  We got a solid storm this weekend and it helped a ton.  Squaw is claiming a 42-60 inch storm total.  Alpine Meadows is claiming a 72 inch storm total (how do they always claim about a foot more?).

That snow is great and much appreciated.  Now, it’s time for a week-long series of storms to drop another 10 feet and we’re all set.  No.  Actually, we need it to just snow everyday from now until the end of March.

Instead, our forecast is for highs everyday in the 50s and lots and lots of sun.
