With news of Sarah Burke’s injury screaming across Facebook and good vibes pouring out from skiers across the globe I thought it would be a good idea to share this portion from the Ski Channel’s movie Winter. It talks about Sarah’s contribution to female skiers everywhere, her love of the mountains and her relationship with her husband Rory Bushfield.
I know these two athletes/awesome people from spending summers on the Blackcomb glacier in the early 2000’s. Sarah is one tough cookie and I am thinking she will push through this injury and be back on top before too long. I know with the support of Rory, her family and the whole ski community it is a road she will try her hardest to take.
