Although most people are aware that Las Leñas added a new chair lift (Minerva), few are aware of their other addition this season: a skating rink!
Yeah, yeah… we come to Las Leñas for Marte, not to go skating. But hey, there are worse things to do with your down time when waiting for the snow or wind to stop, and for Marte to open.
This ice rink is also note worthy because it is the first in any ski resort in South America, and the first in the province of Mendoza.
The rink is open from 12:00 – 10:00 PM every day. It costs 70 pesos for a 45 minute session, which includes ice skate rentals.
