On Dec. 17th you could have dressed up like Santa Claus and sped by any “snow safety” official at Whistler Blackcomb without any repercussions. I’m not saying that SLOW signs don’t work on December 17th, but nearly 100 others on the mountain were also dressed like ol’ Saint Nick, so identifying a culprit would have been a bitch.

This Santa Day saw a mob of enthusiastic and jolly bearded people skiing and snowboarding (sometimes into each other as you can see in the video at 0:26). Rudolf made an appearance and so did some helper elves. It is always fun when you can dress up, and this year was no exception. The holiday atmosphere is in Whistler and everyone is having a great time. I can’t wait for Saint Patty’s Day!
