Lindsey Vonn won her 4th ski race in a row today at Beaver Creek, Colorado and is absolutely dominating the ski racing world right now.  She is on a historical tear that has her in the running for another Overall Championship in the World Cup.  It’s great to see Lindsey crushing it after the pain of her recent divorce.  Vonn is clearly able to rise above and the numbers prove it.

Today was World Cup Ski Racing win number 46 for Lindsey Vonn.

USA Ski racing is currently in it’s Golden Age.  Is this the best U.S. Ski Team we’ve ever had?  Yep.

LINDSEY VONN’S LAST 4 RACES:

1.  Today, December 7th, 2011 – 1st Place in Super G at Beaver Creek, CO

2.  December 4th, 2011 – 1st Place in Super G at Lake Louise, Canada

3.  December 3rd, 2011 – 1st Place in Downhill at Lake Louise, Canada

4.  December 2nd, 2011 – 1st Place in Downhill at Lake Louise, Canada

“I still don’t believe it, really.  Getting a chance to win at home, with a home crowd here, it’s just more than I could’ve expected.” – Lindsey Vonn

The Super G course Lindsey won on today is The Birds of Prey and is so demanding it is usually reserved for men only.  That didn’t slow Vonn down at all and the rest of the female racers proved decidedly that they can handle anything the men can.

“Ever since I moved out here as a kid and was a course slipper at the ’99 World Championships, I’ve always wanted to race here at home. The support that I’ve received from everyone in this community has been amazing. This is a day that I’ll remember for my entire life. Of the 46 wins that I have so far, this is probably the most special.” – Lindsey Vonn

Unofficial sends a LARGE congratulations to Lindsey on her 4th victory in a row.  U-S-A!!!
