November 18, 2011 -Whistler Opening Day – “Whistler is open and Zeus, or cupid, or someone up there knows it! A storm prepped Whistler with 29cm (11in) of new snow just for opening day on Friday the 18th…”

November 24, 2011 – Blackcomb Opening Day- “Tired, beat, drained, worked, sleepy… are common words heard at the Unofficial house this week. Three feet in three days and the opening of Blackcomb did more than cook our legs and test our lungs it succeeded in being the hardest opening week competition that we have ever skied in…”

BIKE 

June 28, 2011 -New Biker Cross Track- “The boys on trail crew have done it again. It’s bigger, faster and has more flow than ever. A combination of tables, step-ups and step-downs has you pretty much grinning the whole way through…”

July 27, 2011 -Red Bull Joyride Crankworx – ” The weather was perfect the course was insane, everyone was here to throw down.  There were huge tricks (back whips, doubles, 360 whips) and of course  huge bails”

Best of the Rest

-Endless Skating- “As it pissed rain in the valley for three days in January the snow on the lake turned into two inches of water. Then… my dream came true and the lake froze with a layer of glass at the surface…”

-The Vancouver Riot-Today I saw some outrageous things. I saw some disgraceful things. Stanley Cup Finals, Game 7… obviously a ton on the line… tensions were high… it was estimated there were 100,000+ people in the streets of Vancouver watching the game…”

-Wake Surfing in Vancouver- “Last week I went Wakesurfing in the Burrard Inlet, we didn’t have a wakesurf so we made do with a six foot surfboard and it worked.  After the session we anchored at Wreck Beach and watched the sunset. Once it got dark we docked and went for Sushi… a perfect day in Vancouver…”
