The word on the street yesterday was that it was raining all the way to the top at Snowbird and Alta. The break in the precipitation drought got us all fired up to go ski some quality Rain Pow! Rain Pow is way more fun than the hard pack we have had for the last couple weeks. An even more pleasant surprise was the gropple pounding down on the bypass road upon arrival at the Bird.

The skiing on Silverfox was much improved from the the firm mega-bumps that have been inhabiting the usually money run all season. Brady Newton was sending everything that didn’t have loads of rocks in the landing and some things that did. Winds were strong up high and the top of Little Cloud was really really cold as usual. The Tram did not run today due to high wind and Peruvian broke down temporarily which was a little bit of a bummer. Overall though today was a lot more fun that the average day this season. Pray for snow. Pray really hard….
