Come to Whistler Sliding Centre today and tomorrow (Dec. 9 & 10) to see the FIL Luge World Cup. This video isn’t from today’s competition or from the track at the Whistler Sliding Centre, but it may give you some idea of how it feels to be the athlete. The inside of a luge course probably looks pretty similar no matter where it is anyway.

Luge Whistler

The Whistler Sliding Centre is located on the southeast slope of Blackcomb Mountain.  You can access the Whistler Sliding Centre by Whistler Transit taking the Staff Housing route (#77) and then a short walk to the venue.   You can also access the centre by taking the Blackcomb Excalibur Gondola from the Village to Blackcomb Base II and then a short walk to the venue.
