Tram Loading

The Tram has been up and running since Friday and people are stoked to be back on Hidden Peak. The only way down is Regulator Johnson and he is an icy little fella. After that you can choose between Lunch Run and Bassackwards before descending the always treacherous Big Emma. Big Emma is the nastiest green circle you will find anywhere. She looks friendly, but has moguls on both flanks and a sheet of glassy ice in her center. Add those two things to the fact that there are about 400 people of all ability levels pounding around on her and you are in store for and unpleasant ride.

We are in need of a storm or two or three as soon as possible. As you can see in the below photo below Gad Valley is looking really thin and I would guess that it is going to take about 50″ of snow to get Road to Provo and Mineral open for the year. Chips is a no go for now as patrol is waiting for a little more base to avoid the head injuries of last weekend.  Our best chance for some snow looks to be at the end of this week…..pray people.
