Come out to the Elks Club in Telluride on Sunday, September 25th @ 6pm for the San Miguel Bicycle Alliance Membership Drive and screening of “Pedal-Driven: a bikeumentary.” The following is taken from Howell at the Moon Productions:

“United under cause to promote and protect our public lands; IMBA, Shimano, and Specialized have joined forces with Northwest Emmy Nominated, Documentary filmmakers to provide a powerful advocacy resource not only for the mountain bike community, but local leaders, land managers, and policy makers that direct the future of our public lands.

“Pedal-Driven: a bikeumentary”explores the framework and ideology needed to get sustainable trails on the ground in your community. If you’re a frustrated rider, share the film with your stubborn land manager. If you’re an embattled land manager, share it with your frustrated users. If you’ve never experienced the flow of trails engineered exclusively for bicycle use, nor the freedoms of modern bicycle technology, get ready for the ride of your life!

For 18 months, Howell at the Moon Productions traveled across the States and Canada, capturing the passion and experience of countless individuals and communities in an effort to introduce the Mountain Bike Movement to the world. Proceeds from this non-profit project are a return investment to the mountain bike community, and will help provide IMBA with the financial tools needed to accomplish what they do best; ground working world-class trail systems in every-day communities.”

Tickets for this event are $10 and ONLY sold online at TellurideSMBA.org. Tickets include entry into the Grand Prize drawings for two different bikes as well as lots of other goodies.
