La Junta Basin - Telluride : Jared Vincent Photo, UnofficialTelluride.com, Unofficial Telluride

The Telluride area saw one of the first somewhat-significant signs of snow this morning with cold temperatures and thick cloud coverage in the mountains. The snow line was right around 12,000 ft this morning with the top of Ajax and Ingram Peak visibly coated from town. That winter feeling is definitely back and should be around for a while, with rain/snow forecasted all week @ 13,000 ft. GET READY PEOPLE!
