If you found two dead bears what would you do with em? Most people would probably leave the carcass rotting on the side of Highway 99. Maybe a few good Samaritans might drag the roadkill into the dich, but who would’ve thought of taking the bears home and stuffing them? YEP. A 45 year-old man from west Vancouver was seen driving through whistler with two dead black bears tied down to the roof, and the story gets better because the guy was driving a van…hey Miles are those kids still missing?

The Vancouver Sun said the the man was later planing on stuffing the bears,

“A man who hoped to stuff two dead black bears had his plan thwarted when he was spotted driving near Whistler with the carcasses strapped to the roof of his vehicle”.


Since there are charges for transporting dead bears with the intent to stuff…the guy was ticketed for unlawful possession of a wild animal under the BC provincial Wildlife Act and slapped with a $230 ticket. And for all you bear lovers the man didn’t get to keep the bears. Full article at Vancouver Sun
