Today is the final day of judging for the World Heli Challenge.  Above are some highlights of the extreme day with a sweet Kiwi voiceover.  Just click on photo twice and it will take you there. The event was held on Mt. Albert.  It is a really fun face with what looked to be good snow.  My favorite shot is Sam Smoothy narrowly avoiding a head on with a rock wall at 1:45.

There is a panel of Judges looking over footage right now and will announce the winners tomorrow Aug. 11th.  To watch all the runs, go to the athlete page on the WHC website and click on a name to watch his or her run.  A couple good ones are Chis Booth and Charlie Timmins freestyle runs attempting some pretty large spins.
