This past Wednesday Cerro Catedral brought about 40 snowboarders to competed in the Billabong Rock the Snow Big Air competition. Perfect bluebird skies and medium temperatures made for a great comp. I overheard one competitor ask another “You Want the Noise Brought on You?”, that’s when I knew it was on.  The snowboarders were divided into four categories: Pro, Amature, Ladies and Junior.

In the Pro category John Hemminger took first and Whistler shredder Andrew Burns ended up in fourth. In the Amateur division Whistler’s local pharmisist Eric Poulin took the win. For the chicas it was Erin Comstock who took first and for the Pups Matthew Barbuzzi.
