The new owner of Bill’s Casino in South Lake Tahoe was doing some remodeling and found a secret safe inside the walls of Bill’s Casino. There was literally NO ACCESS to this safe.  It was just there, totally walled in.  Yeah, I know what you’re thinking:  “there has got to be something incredible in that safe.”

To add to the story, the former owner of Bill’s Casino (and likely the guy who knows what is in the safe) was killed by a car bomb in 1968. We’re gonna go out on a limb and say that casino owners who get killed by car bombs in the 60s were generally involved in the mob.

Mafia in Tahoe is no secret.  Sinatra owned the Ca-Neva casino that had tons of secret tunnels that JFK used to secretly enter the room of Maryln Monroe and discuss politics. There is even a factual documentary about the Mafia in Lake Tahoe called “The Godfather II.”

That mobster and owner of Bill’s was Richard Chartrand.  Whatever he put in that safe is something that we definitely wanna know about…and you can only imagine how interested the Mafia is.

If I was Mike Laub, the guy who is currently the owner and has the safe, I’d be feeling more than just a little weird about this whole thing.

Laub’s son Jordan claims that he’s gonna open the safe live on the internet on Reddit or some damn thing like that. They apparently aren’t worried about what’s inside nor the Mafia repercussions…

What do you guys think about this?  What is in that safe?  Are these Laub guys idiots for making this public?
