Hopefully everyone was able to catch at least some of the epic surfing that took place at Teahupoo during the Billabong Pro that took place this week.  Anyone that has surfed or has been put through the rinse cycle in the ocean has to admire the surfers willing to ride Teahupoo.  This wave is super heavy and breaks on a very shallow reef.  While there was some unbelievable riding thrown down during competition, I think above is the best footage that came from the week.  On a comp day that was canceled because the swell was too dangerous, a group of brave surfers went out and were towed into this monster.  Some amazing rides were captured as well as some of the most painful looking crashes.  It is hard not to have mad respect for these crazy bastards.
