This past weekend was Biking for a Better World’s event Burner 2011 in Tahoe City, and 45 miles in 4 hours was what it took to come out on top.

On July 24, 2011 Biking for a Better World hosted a four hour endurance mountain bike race in Tahoe City, CA. This video shows some uphill and downhill action from the 5 mile loop course. The race winner John Morrison completed 9 laps totaling 45 miles in the four hour race duration. Nice work John!

Biking for a Better World is a local non profit raising money and awareness for communities in need of bicycles to improve their quality of life.  Keep an eye out for the upcoming 2011 Featured Bike Tour, Denver to Durango dropping this August.
