Big Sky has announced the installment of five new runs that will expand it’s gladed area. 20 acres will be added on Andesite Mountain off of the Ramcharger Chairlift for the 2011/2012 season.

Mountain Manager Mike Unruh  said that, “the beauty of being apart of the biggest skiing in America is that there are endless possibilities in terms of terrain. The amount of land here is massive, and we’re always looking for opportunities to grow and make the most of it. These new runs on Andesite are going to make for truly exceptional glade skiing.”

Already at 5,532 skiable acres, the additional trails will be called Wolf Den, Shady Chute, Congo Line and Madagascar. One trail has yet to be named.
