Who doesn’t like a good happy hour. Booze and food in Jackson can be expensive, so you’ve got to save money where you can. Come to think of it, I probably would never have dined at many of Jackson’s finer dining establishments if it weren’t for the deals during happy hour. Here’s a quick overview of some of our favorites in and around Jackson.

Couloir Restaurant, Teton Village (Up the Bridger Gondola); 4:30-6:00, daily

Look at Corbet’s Couloir and talk about how rad you got/are going to get as you sip down some liquid courage. The gondola ride is free after 4:30 and the deck overlooking the resort might have one of the best happy hour views in the valley. Specials include 2 for 1 margs, mojitos, drafts and wine by the glass.

Rendezvous Bistro, Jackson; 5:00-6:30, daily

With a brand new deck Rendezvous Bistro, or simply The Bistro as it’s locally known, is another prime happy houring spot in Jackson. Get there early, as it fills up quick. Enjoy half off all of their booze, except for bottled wine.

Thai Me Up, Jackson; 5:00-7:00, 9:00-Midnight

If you’re looking for food specials and not booze specials, look no further than Thai Me Up’s $6 happy hour curry of the day. A rotation of five different curries, it’s probably the best curry deal you can find in town. It’s a little smaller then the normal curry, but still satisfies most appetites.

The Cadillac Grille, Jackson; 5-7 Daily + 10-Midnight on Friday and Saturday

The Caddy offers happy hour from 5-7 daily, and particularly infamous late night happy hours from 10-midnight on Friday and Saturday nights. The drinks are stiff, and the bar is crowded, so this place isn’t for the faint of heart. The going special is 2 for 1 drinks.

Town Square Tavern, Jackson; 4:30-7:30 daily

The deals are descent at the tavern ($2.50 wells, $3.50 micros, $3 domestics and margs) but that’s not why you should go for happy hour. You should go for the people watching from the deck. Directly above town square, watch countless close calls between motorists and pedestrians. In fact, you could probably make a pretty fun  game by drinking every time a tourist fails to make a left turn out of the left lane from Broadway onto North Cache.
