Alright, the season has finally come to a sensible close. Yes, I know some of you freaks are still out skiing right now, but for most of us, we’re done for the year. I know I am…well, almost. I do think I’m gonna grab another day at Mammoth this month and I’m planning on skiing Squaw for the 4th of July.
Some appropriate summer skiing after the epic season of 2011 aside, I’m at 118 ski days this year. I also keep track of what I consider powder days and I skied 79 powder days this year, including this past tuesday. By far a record amount of powder days in a single season for me.
