Anyone who has not been living under a rock knows that this has been the best April of skiing ever in the history of the world. That was made official when Snowbird announced that it has received more snow this year than in any other in its 40 year history. Â This is Gavin Smith’s first season in LCC. What a lucky guy! Not only did he get to ski at the best resort on the planet during his freshman year in college he got it on the best year the resort has ever had. Logic tells us that the best resort having its best year is impossible to beat. You just can’t argue with logic…that would be stupid.
A good chunk of the white stuff came in April and we have yet to see a significant meltdown this year. What does this mean? It means that all the cliffs are still buried and that we are likely to see some interesting flooding this year in June/July or whenever it actually warms up and stops snowing. Logic once again…
