Squaw was, well, awful today. Windy, coldy, icy, and snowy all day.  Almost June, huh?  Almost June my ass!  La Nina is a vicious, spiteful little girl.

“If there is a worst day of the year, I think it was today” – Parker

It’s currently 39F at the base of Squaw, it’s windy, and you know those snow pellets that blast you in the face and sting like wasps? Yeah, those have been happening all day.

We’re supposed to pick up 9 inches of snow tonight with a low of 23F.  That makes for some low density snow that will likely leave us shattering our souls on the ice beneath the new snow tomorrow morning. But, you never know.  Maybe it’ll dump tonight and we’ll have a full-on powder day tomorrow.  I could work with that.

Sunday is the day. I keep telling myself Sunday will be GREAT at Squaw. Bummed we’ll have to wait until July for Cushing Crossing, but I wouldn’t want to fall in the pond when its 30 outside either.

I have to say that my quote is pretty dum. I got real sweet out there. Hollywood-Bush Air Knoll- Kickier. Also the storm right now is wet, so we will have a nice manky base so we wont hit bottom. Also it snowed before it freezed implying it might be a corn/pow day.
