The sun finally poked out for a few hours yesterday, I forgot how nice it is to ski in the sun.  I was supposed to to ski a few runs in the coin-op race course for our Village “race league” team, but the start house and all the gates were buried in about 10 feet of snow.  Oh well, time to ski more powder.
Headwall is still completely buried, so we had to do the Reverse Traverse to the Funitel to take laps.  It was well worth it, had several great Slot/Light Towers to CII runs.  Also, The Enchanted Forest/Sisters area had some of the lightest most untracked snow all day.
We were finding fresh snow all day long, right up until last run around 4:10 on Dead Tree to the Moon Dunes.  The sun was shining very bright on the entire West Face at that time, very cool.  It was like a spotlight shinning down from the heavens just for the lucky few that were out there…..
